Internationally-acclaimed harpist Elizabeth Jane Baldry will perform her own haunting score live, alongside a screening of the 1922 horror film Nosferatu.
Elizabeth Jane Baldry is the world’s only silent film harpist, providing accompaniment to silent film screenings in the manner of the old silent movie pianists.
Her performance to Nosferatu will be in the intimate Connaught Studio, Worthing, offering a unique opportunity to see this film with a live accompaniment.
Nosferatu is an iconic film and was the first ever screen adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. It is from German expressionist cinema and more than 90 years after its release still remains one of the most potent and disturbing horror films ever made.
