Hard rockers Velvetine go toe-to-toe with Into Dawn and King Ghidora at The Edge of the Wedge tonight.

In a night of gnarly riffs, frantic solos, earth-quaking bass lines and thundering drums, Velvetine ooze the influence of Black Stone Cherry and Motley Crue.

Coming on like the lovechild of Black Sabbath and Soundgarden, King Ghidora open proceedings. Doors 7.45pm. Tickets are £3 advance, £5 on the door. Go to wedgewood-rooms.co.uk
