Have your say

No support act is needed as The Hollies perform their classics on their latest tour.

They’ll be playing The Air That I Breathe, Bus Stop, Carrie Anne, Jennifer Eccles, Stop. Stop. Stop, Just One Look, Long Cool Woman (In A Black Dress), He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother and many more of their classic hits in a brilliant two-hour performance.

With an Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music and induction into the prestigious American Rock’n’Roll Hall Of Fame – for ‘their impact on the evolution, development, and perpetuation of rock’n’roll’ – there is no doubt that The Hollies helped shape the world of pop and rock as we know it and continue to perform with pride and passion around the world.

And we’ve got a great prize for a Hollies fan – a pair of tickets to the Guildhall show on Sunday, April 10, a signed copy of the new tour brochure and a copy of their double CD, Hollies Live.

To be in with a chance of winning, answer the following question: What was the name of The Hollies’ first number one single?

Send your answer on a postcard, with your full name, address and daytime telephone number, to:
