THIS haunting figure of a crouching man sculpted out of chicken wire and draped in a white cloth is just one of several inspirational ideas at an exhibition by Portsmouth college students.

Youngsters from six further education colleges have been invited to display works of art in the University of Portsmouth’s Space gallery until February 11.

Their work, using the theme ‘legacy’, includes performance and visual arts, 3D photography, music, animation and film.

Opening hours to the New Creatives: 2011 show are Monday to Friday, from 10am until 4pm, and admission is free.
