A close encounter puts Richard’s career back on the musical path

A show featuring singers, musicians and comedians is being held at the Kings Theatre, Southsea, on Sunday, in support of Children In Need.

The News Instant Star winner Jerry Williams will sing at the evening, and the theatre’s pantomime dame, Queen Gertie The Gorgeous played by Christopher Marlowe, will perform the opening number with Manic Stage Productions.

Starting at 6pm, other acts include comedian James Alderson, The Wessex Cancer Trust Choir, Luke Ferre and Jamie Riley and The Show Girlz with their tribute to Las Vegas.

Winner of The Cellars’ All About The Song competition, Ismael Clark, will perform, as well as dancers from Abstract Dance & Performing Arts, The Urban Vocal Group and South Downs College students will sing songs from Seussical The Musical.
