After a sell-out five-star run at the Edinburgh Festival, Les Enfants Terribles will bring The Trench to The Spring, Havant, tonight.
It’s inspired by the true story of a miner who became entombed in a tunnel during the First World War.
As the horror threatens to engulf him he finds that not everything in the darkness is what it seems, and there’s a strange world beneath the mud and death.
The Trench blends live music, film, puppetry and physical performance.
The production is written by Oliver Lansley, with music by artist Alexander Wolfe.
Tickets: £10 to £12 from The Spring, Havant on (023) 9247 2700 or go to theberrytheatre.co.uk.
