Following the success of Snookered, the award-winning Tamasha returns to the Nuffield Theatre from March 21-23 with The Arrival, a tale of migration told through theatre, circus skills and music.

Based on the graphic novel by Oscar-winning filmmaker Shaun Tan, it tells the age-old story of people from diverse histories, countries and cultures.

Dale leaves Nigeria, embarking on a voyage where he meets strangers carrying their own stories, struggles and hopes. His story merges with the present day and in an inner city hostel, Dele is an old man being looked after.

The Arrival is a collaboration between Tamasha and Circus Space, and the production is designed to explore the relationship between theatre and the circus arts.

The cast of eight will all take part in the performances which include the Chinese pole, corde lisse and slack rope.

Tickets cost £10.50 to £19 from the Nuffield Theatre, Southampton on (023) 8067 1771 or go to
