Another Shakespearean classic will be entertaining audiences at Titchfield Festival Theatre this month as The Tragedie Of King Richard II comes to the Great Barn Stage.

Showing the bard’s work at the height of his powers The Tragedie Of King Richard II tells the tale of a capricious king and his fall from grace.

Regarded as one of the Bard’s most complex, poetic and symbolic works, this little-seen play is a sumptuous Elizabethan production packed with symbolism, danger, intrigue and internecine politics.
