Fans of classical music are in for a treat tomorrow as Portsmouth’s Big Screen will be showing the Last Night Of The Proms 2011, live from the Royal Albert Hall.

The evening will be the world premiere of Sir Maxwell Davies’ Musica Benevolents, which includes the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Chorus and a group of military trumpeters.

Coverage will start at 7pm and finish at 10.40pm, with performances from brass quartet Belles Of Brass.

The show will finish with well-known classics, such as Rule Britannia, Jerusalem and The National Anthem. Free programmes will be available.
