Bench Theatre presents Boston Marriage, a comedy from one of America’s finest playwrights, at The Spring in Havant from November 11-14.

Anna and Claire have lived happily together for many years, known as a ‘Boston Marriage’.

But when Anna accepts the gift of an emerald necklace from a married admirer and Claire announces she has fallen in love with someone else, a delicious and hilarious battle of wits begins.

The two women soon discover that the gifted necklace brings with it a whole host of problems and that the path to love and happiness seems to lie through a minefield of farce.

David Mamet’s homage to the plays of Oscar Wilde was first premiered in 1999 to good reviews.

Tickets: £9.50, £7.50 concessions. Saturday matinee tickets: £8.50, £6.50 concessions.
