A Messiah complex is a mental disorder where the sufferer thinks they might be the messiah - and that’s exactly what comedian Russell Brand will be talking about when he performs at Portsmouth Guildhall on Wednesday, October 16.
His first stand-up show since 2009, Russell talks about the men in history who have shaped our lives and influenced the way we think.
Their images are used to represent ideas that maybe don’t relate to them at all. Would Gandhi be into apple? Would Che Guevara endorse Madonna?
The evening is now sold out, but Russell Brand will return to the Guildhall on February 28, 2014, with his tour.
