Errant husbands will be likened to cackling geese and clucking hens in the Emsworth-based Renaissance Choir’s concert of French music at St Peter’s Church, Petersfield, tomorrow (7.30pm).

These parody chansons by Janequin and Passereau will be contrasted with Fauré’s Cantique de Jean Racine and music by Poulenc, Messiaen and Josquin, and pianist Karen Kingsley will play works by Satie, Ravel and Debussy.

n Tickets cost £2 to £10 from One Tree Books, Petersfield, or call (023) 9247 5259.
