With Valentines Day still fresh in people’s minds, one of the most recognised love storys of all time is being performed by The Point Youth Theatre.

From February 29-March 3, the Berry Theatre will play host to William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

It faithfully follows the classic story of two lovers who, against the backdrop of a vicious war between their families, fight to be together.

The creative team with The Point Youth Theatre is also offering audience members a free place on its Shakespeare Master Class workshop on Saturday March 3 when booking for the production.

Participants will work with the director and cast members to explore Shakespeare’s iconic text.

Tickets cost £5 to £6.50 from the Berry Theatre, Hedge End on (01489) 799499 or go to theberrytheatre.co.uk.
