ANYONE donating to the Kings Theatre’s Give Pounds To Spend A Penny fundraising campaign will be put into a draw to win a golden ticket for the theatre.

The ticket will give its holder access to see an unlimited number of shows at the Albert Road, Southsea, venue for an entire year.

The fundraising drive is aiming to raise £15,000 to refurbish its dress circle toilets.

Those giving money to the online crowdfunding campaign can choose from a selection of gifts according to what they give, from drinks and ice creams at shows, to places on exclusive historic tours and at a party to meet the cast of this year’s Christmas pantomime.

‘This is our first time entering the world of online fundraising, so we wanted to make sure that we planned it carefully and were able to offer something really special for those who supported us,’ said Kelly Haswell, marketing manager for the theatre.
