One of the greatest female entertainers of the 20th Century, Joyce Grenfell, is being celebrated with Turn Back The Clock.

Presented by Hidden Pearl Productions at The Point, Eastleigh on November 26 this evening of nostalgia features a selection of songs and monologues in honour of her centenary year.

During the fifties the actress, comedienne, and singer-songwriter made her name as a sidekick to such comedy greats as Alastair Sim and Margaret Rutherford. She is probably best remembered for her one-woman shows and monologues, with Turn Back The Clock providing entertainment from the golden age of music.

This new tribute is written entirely in Joyce’s own words, sourced from her numerous broadcasts and letters.

A pre-show cream tea can be booked as part of the performance.

Tickets cost £8 to £10 from The Point, Eastleigh on (023) 8065 2333 or go to thepointeastleigh.co.uk.
