Judge on ITV’s Dancing On Ice and previous Olympic Iceskating Champion, Robin Cousins, will guest star as the hearthrob Teen Angel in Grease The Musical.

Performing at the Mayflower, Southampton from Tuesday for two weeks only, the former champion will join winner of ITV’s Grease Is the Word 2007, Danny Bayne, for the fun loving production.

With slick hair styles and a touch of Fifties nostalgia, the T Birds and the Pink Ladie’s became part of history when the 1978 film was released, with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John rising to new heights of fame.

After returning to the West End in 2007 the classic musical has played over 1400 performances and has been seen by over half a million people at The Piccadilly Theatre in the West End, making it the longest running show in their history.

Speaking about his performance, Robin Cousins says: ‘I am very excited to be joining this new, young and energetic cast to once again play Teen Angel in this fun and vibrant show.’

Producer of the show, David Ian, adds: ‘We’re taking everyone’s favourite show right across the UK on it’s greatest tour ever - Grease is indeed the word.’

Tickets: £17 - £35 Mayflower, Southampton (023) 8071 1811 or mayflower.org.uk.
