After ruffling feathers with her theatrics on the X Factor in 2011, Kitty Brucknell should feel right at home on the Kings stage this panto season.

Kitty has been cast as Princess Jasmine in the Kings Theatre’s production of Aladdin, which will be running from Tuesday, December 9 until Sunday, January 4, 2015.

She will be sharing the stage with Antony Costa as Aladdin, Phill Randall as Widow Twankey, Christopher Marlowe as the Empress of China and another X-Factor alumnus, Jade Ellis, as the Genie of the Lamp.

Kitty says: ‘Being a Disney Princess on stage is one of my childhood dreams. I never thought I’d get this opportunity, and I’m so excited to share this with everyone.’

After appearing on the ITV talent show, Kitty recieved support from Brian May and Lady Gaga, toured Asia and released dance song No Tomorrow in Germany.

A trained musician, Kitty received one of the highest marks ever for Grade 8 Piano.
