When you think of The Graduate, you most probably think of the 1967 film, along with the iconic song about that Mrs Robinson.
But, originally taken from the novel by Charles Webb, the stage adaption was first produced in 2000 by John Reid, and appeared on Broadway and the West End.
But the amateur group, The Maskers Theatre Company, will be performing its own version at the Nuffield Theatre, Southampton on January 24-28.
When East Coast college graduate Benjamin Braddock finds himself alienated and adrift from his peers, he begins to question his existence. Then older woman, Mrs Robinson, seduces him and his life changes forever.
