FORMER Strictly Come Dancing contestant Lisa Riley will be returning to the King’s Theatre in Southsea this month for a signing of her new autobiography, Never Judge a Book by its Cover.

The book, which was released last week, tells all about the 37-year-old’s life- from growing up in Bury to her rise to fame as Emmerdale’s Mandy Dingle.

The autobiography also includes a frank description of how she’s overcome prejudices regarding her weight and how she has boosted her self confidence.

There will be a question-and-answer session with the TV star on Sunday, November 24 at the King’s Theatre, followed by a book signing.

The actress has been a patron of the King’s Theatre since last year, when she performed there in the pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.

The event is free, and no booking is required, although it is advised to reserve in advance as admission is on a first-come-first-served basis. The Q&A begins at 10.30am and reservations can be made on (023) 9282 8282.
