The Slask Song and Dance Ensemble will be appearing at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton next week, after having not performed in the UK for 17 years.

The Polish group has over 100 performers, with a choir, an orchestra and ballet used throughout the production.

With choreographed vocals and musical performances, Slask have visit 44 different countries and performed to over 25 million people. Not only that but they have produced 12 albums, four of which went gold and one platinum. In the past they performed for Pope John Paul II as he was a patron of the troupe, and in 2000 appeared for him in the Vatican.

The group are at the theatre from August 29 until 31.
