The show will be parked at the Southampton venue from Monday to Saturday.

Based on the cult 1994 film, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The Musical is the heart-warming, uplifting adventure of three friends who hop aboard a battered old bus searching for love and friendship and end up finding more than they could have ever dreamed of. Oh, and they happen to be fabulous drag queens, too.

With a dazzling array of outrageous costumes and a hit parade of dancefloor favorites including ‘It’s Raining Men’, ‘Say a Little Prayer’, ‘Go West’, ‘Hot Stuff’ and ‘Always on My Mind’, this wildly fresh and funny new musical is a journey to the heart of fabulous.

Duncan James stars as Tick – also known as Mitzi Del Bra – Simon Green is ageing performer and transgender woman Bernadette and Adam Bailey plays Adam/Felicia Jollygoodfellow, the young upstart of the trio.

Adam says: ‘My character is pretty loud, vivacious and bitchy in a tongue-and-cheek way. He is kind of like a puppy dog.’

Adam says his character highlights the difference in attitudes between the elder and younger generations of the LGBT community.

‘Whereas Bernadette is a lot more cautious, Adam just sees the world as his dressing up box, but he doesn’t realise there are still dangers for gay men in different parts of the world.’

Adam says it has been a lot of fun working with Duncan and Simon.

Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The Musical has won numerous awards all over the world since it was first performed, including Olivier and Tony awards.
