This concert, a one-off production, was the culmination of many months’ hard work led by Kelly Fuller to raise funds for children’s hospices Naomi House and Jacksplace.

This year, the theme was ‘at the movies’, and the show didn’t disappoint.

There was a constant stream of recognisable hits from box office favourites such as Top Gun, Titanic, Grease and Bridesmaids.

The cast were fantastic throughout and this was particularly showcased in the ‘riff off’ from Pitch Perfect to close the first half, with beat-boxing and phenomenal acapella vocals.

Stand-out performances came from Kayleigh Pendry who sang Show Me Heaven, Kimberley Harvey, who tackled Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years, and Lauren Kempton who took on I Will Always Love You.

Special mention must go to the children who also did a fantastic job in the Disney medley.

As the show drew to a close, Fuller expressed her desire to make this a permanent annual event. I certainly hope this will be the case.
