Frankie Valli is still going strong, even though his original Four Seasons have long since passed winter.

But rest assured that when the man with the fabulous falsetto finally decides to hang up his microphone, his timeless music will live on in live shows around the world.

So it was great to see The Eastcoast Boys already helping to take on that mantle.

Their show at The Kings was a great tribute to a great act.

Jared Christopher, Liam Lakin, Dylan Turner and Bradley Clarkson, encouraged us all to believe we were kids from ‘Noo Joyzee’ enjoying our local heroes in their pomp and sometimes it almost seemed we were.

Sing-a-longa-Frankie was the order of the day, with classics including My Eyes Adored You and the lilting Can’t Get My Eyes Off You giving the audience a chance for a mass croon.

But it was the pacy dance-along hits that drew the biggest response. Rag Doll, Walk Like and Man and, of course, Big Girls Don’t Cry: The music just kept coming and coming.

A fun night and a fitting tribute to a legendary act.
