The police, theatres and members of the public are hereby warned to be on the look out for two men dressed in black hats, black ties and sunglasses.
Or at least they are from Wednesday until Saturday next week as The Blues Brothers Approved arrives at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton.
Presented by Dan Aykroyd and Judith Belushi, it features original members from the West End productions of The Blues Brothers – The Smash Hit, and will bring the classic hits and capers of Jake and Elwood Blues live on stage.
Armed with new twists, new moves and freshly laundered suits, they are on a mission to bring soul and blues to the heart of Southampton following a residency in Chicago and a national tour in America.
Joining them on stage will be the Bluettes, three ladies with attitude and singing voices, as well as the Blues Brothers band.
Last time the production appeared at the theatre it broke box office records, and songs included in the show are Everybody, Gimme Some Lovin, Think, Shake A Tailfeather and Sweet Home Chicago.
The Blues Brothers is an American blues and soul revivalist band founded in 1978 by comedy actors Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi as part of a musical sketch on Saturday Night Live.
But the pair’s lively act soon went beyond the world of TV, and they then released an album.
