Alongside live music, art exhibitions and guided walks, theatrical performances will litter Chichester from tomorrow until July 14 as part of the Festival of Chichester.

Lovers and fairies collide in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the New Park Centre from Tuesday until June 22, while the Funtington Players will put on a world premiere of Murder With Ghosts by Simon Brett at the Weald and Downland Museum on Thursday.

Enjoy the sounds of the past with West End to Broadway at The Assembly Rooms on Friday, June 21 and Julian Sluggett will be performing his own play, Notes from a Dishwasher, at Zizzi’s Restaurant on June 24. It is also being shown on July 8.

Celebrate the power of a sugary sweet with Love of Chocolate at The Vicars Hall on June 27, while Rude Mechanical Open Air Theatre will present Harlequin Goes To The Moon at the Garden of Halnaker Park Cottage on June 30.

New Theatre Productions presents The Tempest at The Pergola Open Air Theatre on July 1 and it’s back to school on the same day at the Donnington Parish Hall with School Rules. Other performances on July 5 and 9.
