The city of Gotham is brought to life in a Hampshire theatre this Christmas.

The Dark Knight Before Christmas is a light-hearted superhero adventure, where Father Christmas has been kidnapped and Batman and Robin are called in to get him back.

The panto, which is written and directed by Batman superfan Ian Hylands, will still include songs and dancing.

Artistic director and chairman Kevin Fraser said: ‘We love traditional panto stories, but also enjoy giving performances that extra edge.’
