A unique new version of Shakespeare’s classic tale of bloody ambition, Macbeth, comes to Tichfield this month courtesy of Titchfield Festival Theatre.

Directed by Hannah Scammel, the latest TFT production of the bard’s famous play gives the main roles to women while the three witches are played by men.

Macbeth is Shakespeare’s shortest tradgedy telling the tale of a Scottish lord who will stop at nothing to fulfill his ambitions for power.

Macbeth plays at the Great Barn in Titchfield from June 25 until July 5. Tickets: £8–£11. Call 01329 556156 or visit
