Following his West End run at the London Palladium last Christmas, Tommy Steele will reprise his role as Ebenezer Scrooge in Bill Kenwright’s festive tale, Scrooge The Musical, at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton, from November 11-16.

Tommy has headlined more performances than any other at the iconic London theatre, and his musical career includes more than 20 hit singles.

He has also had Hollywood movie hits such as The Happiest Millionaire and Finian’s Rainbow, and was in award-winning stage musicals such as Half a Sixpence, Hans Andersen and Singin’ in the Rain.

Based on Charles Dickens’s heartwarming story A Christmas Carol, Scrooge The Musical features illusions by magician Paul Kieve (acclaimed for the magic effects in the Harry Potter films) and a musical score which features Leslie Bricusse’s Oscar-nominated hit, Thank You Very Much.

Tickets: £14 to £37 from the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton, on (023) 8071 1811 or go to mayflower.org.uk.
