Award-winning comedy comes to Southampton this week with the National Theatre’s production of One Man, Two Guvnors.

The popular show is based on Richard Bean’s version of Carlo Goldoni’s classic Italian comedy, The Servant of Two Masters and follows the fortunes of Francis Henshal who becomes a minder for Roscoe Crabbe. However, Roscoe is really Rachel Crabbe, posing as her own dead brother – who’s been killed by her boyfriend Stanley Stubbers and when Francis also takes on a job for Stanley life gets really complicated.

Starring Gavin Spokes, Emma Barton and ex-Eastender Shaun Williamson One Man, Two Guvnors comes to the Mayflower, Southampton from Monday to Saturday. Tickets: £18-£32.
