HAMPSHIRE beauty Grace Levy impressed judges on the international stage as she competed in Miss Universe.
The 24-year-old, from Titchfield, was one of 88 women to take part in the world-renown beauty contest.
Estate agent Grace won the title of Miss Universe GB last summer and was at the competition in Florida on Sunday representing our country.
Unfortunately, Grace did not make it to the final 15 and she lost out on the grand title of Miss Universe to Miss Colombia Paulina Vega, a 22-year-old business student.
The Miss Universe contest is run by property mogul and reality TV star Donald Trump and is in its 63rd year.
It is broadcast to billions of people across the world.
There are several rounds in the contest, such as swimwear, evening gown and national costume.
Grace, who appeared on ITV’s Take Me Out in 2012, received acclaim for her patriotic beefeater outfit in the national dress round.
She will now continue with her Miss Universe GB duties, travelling around the world promoting the contest.
The 5ft 11in blonde bombshell first fell in love with beauty pageants after winning the title of Titchfield Carnival queen.
Grace, who used to go to Crofton School, said: ‘When I was seven my mum used to enter me into the carnival princess competition. It all stemmed from there.
‘It’s been a long journey and I just can’t believe that I made it. It was an absolute honour to represent Great Britain.’
Paula Abbandonato, national director for Miss Universe Great Britain, said: ‘There was an incredibly high standard of fantastic young women in the final this year.
‘Grace is a fabulous winner.’
