Aldi in Havant is moving - here's where new shop will open

The budget supermarket currently occupies unit 4-5 at Central Retail Park, Park Way.
Aldi has announced that it will be relocating that store but shoppers will not have far to go to find the new shop.

Hide AdIt is set to take over Unit 6B at the same retail park in Park Way, Havant.
The current store will shut its doors for the final time on Wednesday, March 4 and the new shop will open the following day at 8am.
Aldi is celebrating the opening of its new shop in Havant on March 5. The first 30 customers through the door will receive a free bag of fresh fruit and vegetables.
The relocated store will be run by store manager Stephen Stratford.

‘It’s set to be a special day as we’ll be celebrating the opening of Aldi’s new and improved store in Havant.'
Mr Stratford and his team will be joined by three-time Olympic silver medallist Frances Houghton to cut the all-important ribbon on opening morning.
The rowing star, who retired from the sport after the 2016 games in Rio de Janeiro, added: ‘I’m so excited to be opening Aldi’s new store, it will be great to chat to customers and a lovely way for me to thank Aldi for its endless support of Team GB.’

Hide AdThe new Aldi store is calling on local charities and food banks in Havant to register with Neighbourly, a community engagement platform that links businesses to charitable organisations in their community, to receive regular donations of surplus food from the supermarket.
Charities that register will be able to collect surplus food and perishable products, such as fruit, vegetables and baked goods, up to five days a week.
