Mamawu, based in Nutbourne, put on three menu sample days to give away hundreds of orders of their new dishes and gain feedback on the menu as well as raising funds for NHS Charities Together.
Owned by Sam Chan, the new takeaway aims to provide restaurant-quality comfort food for delivery and collection, delivering as far as Emsworth.

Hide AdChef manager Ben Vasey said: ‘Instead of getting rid of stock we decided to cook it all up and give it away. It’s been good for us to get some feedback and raise money for the NHS.
‘They work really hard and I wouldn’t do that job even if you paid me a million pounds. They’re all at risk every day.’
Based at the Beijing Palace, the business kept on all of its staff and has taken on three new chefs to support their latest venture, with hopes to expand to further locations in the near future.
Ben added: ‘We want to expand quite quickly. The ideas are all there, the food is fantastic and we have got a great team in the kitchen.’
