Gunwharf Quays customers warned to 'expect queues' as centre reaches capacity

Visitors will have to queue at the entrance of the outlet shopping centre in Portsmouth this afternoon.
Gunwharf Quays tweeted: ‘The capacity at Gunwharf Quays has been reached. If you are planning to visit, please expect to queue at the centre’s entrances.
‘Thank you for your patience.’

Hide AdAs part of the safety measures introduced when Gunwharf Quays reopened in June, the shopping centre is limiting the number of customers allowed in to allow social distancing.
Other measures include a one-way systems, two-metre distancing, hand sanitisers and extra cleaning will be in place, and our security and concierge teams will be available to help manage queuing and capacity.
There are also ‘no-stopping zones’ with signs and floor stickers to help people keep a safe distance apart.
