Popular Portsmouth Post Office to ‘remain closed’
and live on Freeview channel 276
The shop, in the Londis store on Sultan Road, Buckland, closed last May after the owner said it was not financially viable to keep it open.
More than a year later the store remains shut after the Post Office has struggled to find a ‘solution’.

Hide AdA spokesman said: ‘Sultan Road Post Office has been temporarily closed since May 2019 when the shop, where the Post Office was based, was sold.
‘The vacancy was advertised, but we have been currently unable to identify a suitable solution. Until there is a suitable opportunity to re-establish a service, this branch will remain closed.
‘Alternative Post Offices are at Buckland, North End and Fratton.’
