The event raised money for Cancer Research UK, which received £1,000 and the remaining £650 went to two charities chosen by Mayor of Fareham Mike Ford, who also attended the event.
Cllr Ford said: ‘Abu sets aside a day every year and donates all the takings to the mayor’s chosen charities, and this year he donated money to Cancer Research UK as well. It was fantastic. A brilliant event.’
Cllr Ford picked two charities to split the £650 raised from the takeaway’s fundraiser.
