New retail park in Chichester is nearing completion
A topping out ceremony took place to mark the end of the first phase of an exciting new retail development at Barnfield Drive, Chichester.
Around seven acres of council-owned land are being transformed by the Brookhouse Group as part of the council project.

Hide AdThe site, which was a former quarry and landfill site, will consist of four retail units.
DIY chain Wickes and Halfords will be among the firms opening as part of the first phase. It is anticipated the stores will be open for business this summer.
Later this year it is hoped that an adjoining parcel of land will be ready.
A fourth retail unit will be created which will be occupied by the discount retailer Aldi.

Hide AdWork on this area is about to start and it is hoped that the store will open in autumn. The development will create more than 100 jobs.
Councillor Gillian Keegan, in charge of commercial services in Chichester, said: ‘This is fantastic news for Chichester.’
