At Gosport Marina, a ‘high volume' of large yachts have been recorded coming into the harbour in the past few weeks.
The marina, run by Premier Marinas, and Endeavour Quay next door can accommodate large vessels up to an overall length of 40m.

But with the uncertainty around foreign travel due to the coronavirus pandemic – including heightened regulations in France and Spain – many more British-registered vessels have made their way back to the UK.
Endeavour Quay’s yard manager, Tim Newell, said: ‘We are pleased to be able to accommodate so many large yachts here. Normally we would be servicing one or two big boats at this time of year, we currently have five to look after.
‘Premier Marinas recent investment in additional large capacity pontoons is really bearing fruit.

One of the many yachts that have come to Gosport Marina is Finnish performance vessel, Liara.
The superyacht was designed for global cruising and racing, and had been delivered to her new owner in 2019 ahead of a world tour this year, which was subsequently cancelled.
