'˜We put a lot more into it. We make it ourselves and we use local suppliers. It is good to be recognised. It is a compliment to the whole team.'Â
The business came about when four friends decided to join up. Simon Gardiner, Paul Clilverd, Lee Carter and Matt Howarth pooled their talents for bar management, business and interior design and transformed the former convenience store into the bar.Â
Simon, who is also a director at Carrington West, said the venture had paid off and they were proud to have established themselves as one of Southsea's top food and drink businesses.

'˜We created a place that we would want to eat and drink in with our friends - and that's why it's been so successful.'Â
