Gracewell of Fareham is throwing an afternoon tea party for its 75 residents who will be treated to a variety of classic tunes from local band The Tom Davis Trio.
They will be performing songs from the swinging ‘60s through to hits in the 1980s from the likes of Elvis, Eric Clapton and Elton John during a 45-minute set.

Jessica Wooldridge, home’s admission advisor, said recent months had been tough. She said: ‘We were in lockdown prior to the official lockdown so we were not able to have personal visits from March 1.
‘All the entertainment and social interaction has been down to the staff so it has been a real challenge - but everyone has pulled together and had a great time.
‘We’ve had no confirmed coronavirus cases after lots of testing which we’re obviously very happy about. We’ve had no problem with getting PPE - management has been superb.

Residents will be able to watch the band from their windows or from the garden area.
With the easing of lockdown, those living at Gracewell have been given a boost after seeing loved ones again - albeit through windows and doors as social distance measures are followed by relatives sitting in the garden.
‘It has been lovely, a real rollercoaster of emotion,’ Jessica said. ‘Residents have had FaceTime calls with loved ones every week but it has been nice for them to see their loved ones again.’

‘Hopefully people will find it in 2,000 years and we won’t be forgotten,’ Jessica said.
The concert is at 4pm and is just for residents and staff.
