Oyster Street ran through to White Hart Road but has since been built over.

The sea lock where the coal for the power station came through can also be made out.
The modern picture is not squared up to the original but the site of the power station is now built on with Armoury Lane covering the site.
The cathedral has since had an extension added and the remains of all the houses that once stood in front of it have been taken down and the area grassed over. The buildings along White Hart lane have all been replaced with housing.
The former sea lock is now a car park for the Isle of Wight car ferry.
