Touring Gin and Rum Festival to visit Portsmouth this summer
More than 60 gins and 60 rums are set to take over The Pyramids Centre for two days from June 15.
Punters will get the chance to explore the wares of seven internationally-themed bars – with the opportunity to listen in on talks and masterclasses from top alcohol producers.

Founder of the aptly-named Gin and Rum Festival, Bobby Nanua, said: ‘I am extremely happy to have launched the UK’s very first Gin and Rum Festival.
‘We have an exciting year ahead hosting the festival in more than 20 cities.
‘It is with great pleasure we bring our festival to the people of Portsmouth.

Organisers say the event will offer seamless and flavourful fun, with visitors set to make purchases from its bars using cashless wristbands which can be topped up online or at dedicated on-site stations.
Festivalgoers will also receive a free satchel bag containing goodies including a branded Gin and Rum Festival copa glass.
While products from around the world will go on display over the festival’s two-day outing, producers and distillers from UK firms will be on-hand to showcase their finest drinks in the light of Brexit.
