The Chairmakers, in Apless Laane, World’s End, teamed up with canine culinary chefs Paleo Ridge to put together a special pub menu for dogs last September.
Now national pet care brand Webbox has hailed the pub as one of top five most pet friendly watering-holes in the country.

Angus, who has run the pub with his wife Sherry since 2019, said: ‘It's been unbelievably popular - we have people coming in just to feed their dogs.
‘And it's nice to have the hard work recognised.’
The recognition is part of a wider reversal of fortune since the pub has welcomed back punters for outdoor service earlier this month.
The News had previously reported on Angus facing £60,000 in bills incurred just to keep the pub closed during the last 12 months - but now business is booming.

‘We turned hundreds of people away because they hadn't booked and we could fit them in.
‘It's been incredible.’
