Children's cancer charity up for award
A Waterlooville community charity have been announced as one of 30 finalists in line to receive a national award in recognition of their work in making the local area a better place to live.
Hannah's Holiday Home provides respite and memory making family breaks to children with cancer and life limiting illnesses.
Pam Marshall from Hannah's Holiday Home said: '˜We were truly over the moon to become a finalist in the Groundwork Community Awards. Since we began we have helped over 966 children with cancer and life limiting illnesses and their families.'
Graham Duxbury, Groundwork's national CEO, said: '˜I'd like to congratulate Hannah's Holiday Home and all of the other finalists nominated.'
