Council asks residents whether it should continue dog fouling regulations in Fareham
Fareham Borough Council is asking locals whether a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) should be renewed in the borough '“Â it currently aims to tackle dog fouling.
If approved it would replace an existing PSPO introduced in 2016, which is set to expire in March 2019.

Hide AdPutting in place a new PSPO would extend the council's powers for a period of three years to tackle dog fouling, ensure people have a means to pick up dog litter, request dogs be put on leads if causing a nuisance in public, ensure dogs are put on leads in sensitive places, limit the numbers of dogs one person can walk at any one time and exclude dogs from certain areas.
Residents can comment on each of these proposals via an online survey at fareham.gov.uk/takingthelead until Monday, J anuary 14.Â
