Arrest made after woman and child are attacked by a man in Southsea

POLICE have made an arrest after a woman and her child were assaulted.
The attack took place on Monday evening in Southsea.
Hampshire police said the victims were in Goldsmith Avenue when they were attacked by a male, between 6.10pm and 6.20pm.
The man is said to have got out of his vehicle to attack the pair in the street.

Hide AdOfficers have since arrested a 48-year-old man on suspicion of assault.
However, police in Portsmouth are keen to speak to any witnesses. Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting 44190208569
