Cannabis dealer traced to home address by police after ditching backpack near Abshot Community Centre in Park Gate
Fareham police asked to search the backpack of the boy after they approached a group of youths at Abshot Community Centre in Park Gate on Saturday.
The boy ran off but officers found his address in his bag alongside some cash, scales and a small amount of cannabis.

Hide AdA social media post by the force read: ‘At Abshot Community Centre a group of four youths were spoken to, one was seen to be underage drinking and when officers asked to search his backpack he ran off.
‘Unfortunately for him he left the backpack containing his home address! Officers found cash in the bag along with scales and a small amount of cannabis. On attendance at his home address Officers found further money and cannabis in his bedroom.’
Officers did further patrols of Abshot Community Centre in the evening and saw a drunk driver reverse into a tree.
The social media post read: ‘He was breathalized and was twice over the limit so has spent the night in custody and will be dealt with accordingly.

‘Please do not drink and drive, you are putting so many people at risk including yourself.’
Officers were on patrols across the bank holiday weekend in Strawberry Fields, Seafields Park, Cams Alders, Abshot Community Centre and Wicor Rec.
The team also reunited a phone with its owner.
