‘We are still not linking this to any other reports or incidents in the area. The premises were targeted at night when it was very wet and windy and not many people were out and about.
‘We are still trying to establish if the weapon seen was a genuine handgun or an imitation firearm. Thankfully no-one was injured in this incident.
‘I’d like to trace a man and a woman who used the store shortly beforehand and who may have seen what happened and anyone who may have found discarded clothing in the area.’
