Children robbed after being threatened with a knife in Leigh Park

Hampshire Constabulary is investigating an incident where two teenagers – believed to be around 16 years old – robbed three children in Market Parade, Leigh Park, at around 6.30pm.
An electric scooter, two mobile phones, a bag and a bicycle were stolen after the teengers demanded the children hand over their possesions.

Hide AdTo intimidate the youngsters, one of the boys allegedly showed them what is thought to have been a knife, which was kept in his waistband.
The two boys then fled the scene with the stolen belongings.
Police officers are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘After they left the scene, officers believe the boys went to Havant Railway Station and boarded a train.

Hide Ad‘Officers investigating the incident are keen to speak with anyone who may have information that will assist them.
‘The first boy is described as being black, wearing a navy puffer jacket and navy tracksuit trousers.
‘The second is described as being white, and wearing a black puffer jacket and black tracksuit trousers.’
