Gosport residents outraged after mindless vandalism of graves at Ann's Hill Cemetery

Police are now on the hunt for those who caused the mindless damage.
Posting on the Gosport Aware Facebook page one local resident said: ‘This is absolutely disgusting. The selfish, moronic attitude of these heartless idiots is shocking.’

Hide AdAnother resident posted: ‘They need to be rounded up and put right all the damage they have caused. Morons.’
Concerned about the potential damage to loved ones graves, one poster said: ‘This is awful. I hope my grandmother’s grave hasn’t been damaged.’
Damage has also been caused to vehicles surrounding the cemetery.
A statement from Gosport Police said: ‘Gosport Neighbourhood Team will be carrying out enquiries in relation to a series of criminal damage incidents in and around the cemetery on Ann’s Hill Road this morning.‘We are aware that several gravestones in the cemetery have been defaced and a number of vehicles in the surrounding area have also been damaged.’
