n Max Funnell, 18, of Frater Lane, Gosport, admitted stealing Babyliss hair straighteners worth £37.50 from Wilko in Waterlooville on December 16 last year.
Magistrates imposed a 12-month conditional discharge, and he must pay £37.50 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge.
n Lee Wilkes, 31, of Mill Road, Waterlooville, admitted assaulting a woman by beating.

Hide AdHe was handed a 16-week prison term suspended for 12 months.
Wilkes committed the offence in Havant on February 22.
He must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £80 prosecution costs.
Wilkes also admitted failing to comply with a community order for previous offences of causing harassment, alarm or distress, possession of cocaine, a class A drug, and criminal damage.
He was re-sentenced to a four-week term suspended for 12 months for each, to run concurrent with each other and the assault sentence.

Hide Adn Terry Parkes, 31, of Quinton Close, Somers Town, admitted assault by beating and was jailed for 16 weeks.
He also admitted stealing a Nike bag, an iPhone 4s, £30 cash, Lynx deodorant, Diesel aftershave, boxer shorts and two keys.
He was given an eight-week terms for this.
Parkes also admitted a second assault by beating and was given a 16-week terms for this.
All sentences will run concurrent.
n Mark Buckley, 58, of Kent Road, Southsea, admitted drink-driving and was fined £650.

Campanale was fined £80 with a £20 victim surcharge to pay.
